Private Leave for a Pregnant Employee With Disability and Maternity Leave



Service Description :

A disabled employee deserves a special leave with full salary not deducted from her other leave days if she was pregnant and the competent technical committee recommends that her condition requires that. The disabled employee in public and private and oil sectors also deserves a seventy-day pregnancy leave with full salary and maternity leave following the pregnancy leave for four months with full salary followed by six months with half salary according to what is recommended by the competent technical committee. –

Eligibility or Criteria :

– For moderate and severe disabilities
– The disabled must be staying in one of the public hospitals
– The disabled can be at home with a recommendation from the respective physician or the general medical council stating that he/she receives home treatment.

Copy of the disability proof certificate issued by the General Authority for the Disabled Affairs.
Original smart civil card of the disabled and a copy thereof.
Letter from the hospital stating the date of entry and release.
Recommendation letter from the respective physician or the general medical council stating the home treatment of the disabled –

The required documents should be submitted to the Residence, Social Securities and Public Facilities Division on the 3rd floor at the General Authority for the Disabled Affairs headquarters in Al Shaab Al Bahri area during the working hours.
Sundays and Tuesdays for women and Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for men
